GREATER FRANKLIN DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL: TIF INFORMATION

Established in 2008, the Franklin County Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District provides public assistance to the Kibby Wind Power Project and created an economic development plan for Unorganized Townships (UTs) in Franklin County. As part of the economic development plan, a portion of the funds obtained from this district are put towards two funding programs: grants for projects in UTs and a revolving loan fund.

Individuals that are located in the Unorganized Townships are encouraged to apply for educational funding. Applications for Letters of Intent are being accepted until May 1, 2024 and can be downloaded at www.greaterfranklin.org/tif
