The purpose of the Registry of Deeds is to record and preserve all land records in Franklin County. The Franklin County Registry of Deeds has documents dating back to 1838 and the public has access to them all through a searchable index that contains the names of all parties related to the document.

To access and make copies of our records, the public may either visit the Registry of Deeds office in person and use our computer station, books, or registry staff or view and download the documents online using a personal computer.
